4G can be used at home or your office or any other 4G coverage area for:
a) Wireless internet access
Vodafone Fiji 4G Network uses the 1800 MHz frequency.
For now, 4G is available in most major towns and areas such as Suva, Nasinu, Lami, Navua, Coral Coast, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, Tailevu, Nausori, Savusavu, Labasa and Tavenui. Keep checking Vodafone’s website for latest updates on 4G coverage in other areas.
When you move outside a 4G coverage area, your phone will seamlessly move to our 3G Network layer and you can continue using your phone. [For this to happen, your 4G device needs to be in auto network mode for seamless transfer across networks]
Data Angel is exclusive to Vodafone and is a tool that helps track usage. It helps keep you in control on how much you use and helps in controlling spend. Data Angel is currently available for Postpay Mobile Broadband plans only and will in future be made available on other plans. Now you can do all the things you love on the internet without the worry of accidently going over your data bundle. Data Angel keeps a watchful eye on your usage, and lets you know when the end of your bundle is in sight.
We'll send you a TXT when your data is getting low
Gives you options for getting more data (Data Add-on Tab)
No nasty surprises when you get your bill
All 4G devices purchased directly from Vodafone outlets will work, as the firmware on these devices have been upgraded to support 4G services. For 4G devices sourced from other carriers or countries, there are no guarantees that these will work on the Vodafone Fiji 4G network and Vodafone will not take responsibility for any such devices. However, our technicians will be able to check and confirm and where possible assist with firmware upgrades to enable these devices to work on Vodafone's 4G Network.
