One of the best features of Continuity across Apple devices is Handoff. Handoff allows Apple's first-party apps and any third-party developers to send an app's data seamlessly between devices so you can "pick up where you left off."
So, for instance, you can copy text or an image on your iPhone and paste it on your Mac.
Likewise, you can start composing an email on your iPad and finish writing it on your iPhone.
Handoff works with Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Maps, Messages, Notes, Reminders, Safari, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and any enabled third party apps.

Some examples of third-party apps are Spark, Chrome and Pocket.

iOS 14 finally allows you to add widgets to your home screen. Widgets are a great way to get more information at a glance, plus a bonus of adding widgets is another way to create your own personalised and unique home screen. While widgets are not new for Android users, it is something refreshing for iOS users and can be very handy when used well. More apps are coming on board and adding Widgets to the iOS ecosystem.

Apple also released a unique method of creating widgets called smart stack, which lets you scroll through multiple widgets in the same widget on the screen.

Many privacy-related features were included in iOS 14 and will continue being included in iOS 15. However, there are some notable ones like sharing approximate location that allows users to opt to share just the approximate location when an app asks for it. You can also manually set this up for each individual app.

Another nifty feature is detecting camera and microphone access. Some apps will try to use your camera or microphone for certain reasons, even when they don't necessitate that access. Before iOS 14, it wasn't easy to tell which apps were accessing what phone features, but now iOS can indicate when your camera or mic is being used. When your camera is being accessed, a green dot appears at the top of the screen. An amber dot appears when the microphone is on. You can then judge for yourself if you think that particular app needs that type of access.
