Five festive fun-filled games that the whole family can play together this Christmas.

Print off a series of game cards featuring 32 different popular Christmas characters to play this fun Christmas ‘who am I?’ game with the family. The characters featured are all from popular Christmas stories, songs and movies.

Take a look through the cards prior to playing and remove any characters that your kids are not familiar with. There’s also a page of blank cards included so that you can add any additional favourite characters that aren’t already included.

You’ll need two or more players to play, a loop of elastic to fit around each player’s head and the set of printable character cards.

Shuffle the cards and place the stack face down in the middle of the table, each player then takes a card and tucks it into their elastic headband without looking at their character.

Starting with the youngest player and proceeding clockwise around the table, each player asks the group a ‘yes or no’ question about who their character might be.

The first player to guess their character wins the round. Everyone then chooses a new card to start the next round. The first to win five rounds wins the game.

The perfect activity to get the blood pumping and perhaps burn off a few extra calories after indulging in Christmas lunch or dinner.

The game can include searches for items big and small, inside the house or in the backyard. You can personalise the game by including some items or gifts that are specific to your family.

A fun gift giving game for the whole family. Everyone places a gift in a pile and then draws number in order to decide who picks the first gift.

Number one selects a present from the pile, and then each subsequent number played in order can either ‘steal’ the gift that someone else has already chosen or instead pick a new present from the pile.

You can either unwrap gifts as you select them, or leave them unwrapped until the end of the game to keep other players guessing.
