Rajnesh Prasad Appointed as Regional Chief Marketing Officer
Rajnesh Prasad has been appointed as Regional Chief Marketing Officer (RCMO) of Vodafone Fiji with immediate effect. With his wealth of experience and expertise in Vodafone Fiji's largest operational portfolio, Mr Prasad is set to play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic initiatives and fostering its growth in the Pacific region.
Vodafone's Regional CEO Pradeep Lal congratulated Prasad on the new appointment and said, "The regional footprint is expanding and we are proud to see our team's career progression. Rajnesh has proven his ability as part of the executive leadership team, where he successfully led multiple sales & marketing initiatives, launched innovative campaigns, and drove significant business growth. As Regional CMO, Mr Prasad will oversee all marketing strategies, brand development, and customer experience enhancement efforts for Vodafone Fiji and the Pacific entities. Mr Prasad brings with him a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success in the telco industry. Rajnesh has had a pivotal role in launching the M-PAiSA platform and has in-depth experience in all aspects of business operations.
With over 20 years of experience in technical, marketing and leadership roles, Rajnesh has demonstrated a strong ability to drive business growth and transform organizations. His strategic mindset and deep understanding of consumer dynamics will shape Vodafone's regional growth strategy for the future. He will lead various teams that drive innovation and introduce next-generation products and services in Fiji and the Pacific entities.
Complementing his stellar career, Rajnesh's academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Warwick, England, and a Master of Information Systems from Central Queensland University, Australia. He has a Degree in Computing Science and Information Systems from the University of the South Pacific and completed his Executive Management Program at Stanford University, USA.
