Vodafone Renews Support for the 2024 Tebara Carnival

Vodafone Fiji has renewed its support for the 2024 Tebara Carnival today.

“Vodafone Fiji, has always championed the togetherness of our community, whether through the services we provide or bringing people together from various backgrounds at events such as this Carnival,” Mr. Nilesh Singh, the Head of Recharge & Distribution of Vodafone Fiji.

The carnival was officially launched today at the new Nausori Plaza in the presence of supporting business houses, the staff of the Nausori Town Council, members of the organizing Committee and citizens of Nausori town.

“We are confident that the funds raised from the Tebara Carnival will be put towards a good course – and for that reason Vodafone Fiji remains committed to partnering with various municipalities for the collective benefit of our people – this is our passion for our Vanua and an opportunity to connect to our customers,” said Singh.

The week-long Carnival will act as a great platform for our Queen contestants to formally support and advocate on issues dear to them in addition to enabling participating youths an avenue to showcase their creative arts and talents through performances, creative costumes and music.

“I am confident, this participation will be filled with networking, learning new things and building confidence for these young women who have such great purpose to make a meaningful difference in our society,” added Singh whilst concluding his official address.

Vodafone’s sponsorship reaffirms our commitment to making this year’s Carnival a success, in collaboration with the Tebara Carnival Committee and we anticipate to see our joint efforts and actions remembered by the people of Nausori.

This year’s carnival will draw special attention on the theme “Choose Healthy Life Style” and will be held at the Syria Park in Nausori from the 4th to 11th May.
