Vodafone Fiji as the major sponsor of Fiji’s first MSME Conference recognizes the vital role played by MSMEs in shaping Fiji's business landscape. Vodafone Fiji’s Regional Chief Marketing Officer Rajnesh Prasad highlighted on their commitment to empowering businesses of all sizes and announced their collaboration with MSME partners on the digital trade platform VitiKart, providing opportunities for businesses to broaden their reach in the online market

The Deputy Prime Minister & Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, Small & Medium Enterprises, Hon. Manoa Kamikamica launched the first-ever Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Conference, themed "Innovation Waves, Sailing MSMEs to Success”. The event is scheduled to take place on March 7th - 8th at the prestigious Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva
“The MSME sector, a vital driver of economic growth, comprises approximately 82 percent of businesses in Fiji, with an estimated 30,000 registered enterprises. We recognize the significance of MSMEs and we are committed to fostering a conducive environment for MSMEs to thrive”, said Hon. Manoa Kamikamica.
MSMEs are key growth drivers in developing Asia and the Pacific. They account for an average of 96.6 percent of all enterprises, 55.8 percent of the workforce, and 28 percent of a country’s economic output.
The Federation extends its sincere thanks to Vodafone Fiji and looks forward to a successful World Cup outing with the shared goal of promoting hockey in Fiji and inspiring future generations of athletes.
The two-day conference aims to bring together the diverse segments of the MSME ecosystem and provide a platform for learning, collaboration, and networking. The theme, "Innovation Waves, Sailing MSMEs to Success," underscores the importance of creativity, adaptability, and resilience in the face of a rapidly evolving economic landscape.
The conference boasts an exciting line-up of international and local speakers covering topics such as Access to Finance, Strategies for Success, MSMEs as Economic Drivers, and Empowering Inclusivity.
