Vodafone Fiji gave away over $25,000 worth of prizes to three lucky winners as part of its Mother’s Day text and win promotion.
We wanted to give big prizes as Mum’s are very important aspects of our lives said, Vodafone’s Manager Sponsorship Mr. Adriu Vakarau. There was a 22kt gold necklace set worth $22,000 from Lords Jewellers, Samsung Galaxy S10+ and the third prize as a night’s stay at the luxurious InterContinental Fiji Resort & Spa.
Surprisingly, two of the winners tried their luck using Vodafone’s IOU Service and won prizes with one text.
Mr. Aseri Rokodrugu of Caubati got very emotional whilst receiving the gold set. I am a bus driver at Dee Cees Company. Never thought of winning anything in my life. I wish my mum was with us today, he said.
The Eseroma Kauvaki family were in for a surprise when received confirmation of the win from Vodafone. “My wife used my phone to do IOU then got the text and took part. The family from Matacaucau Tailevu could not believe they won with just one text. It is such a beautiful Mother’s Day gift for my wife said Mr. Kauvaki.
An elated Vani Bogidrau, a student of FNU won the latest Samsung Galaxy edition; Samsung Galaxy S10+. Mrs. Bogidrau giggled whilst setting her newly won smartphone and said “I will sell my old smartphone to my husband and then use this new one.
The winners were handed over prizes by few of the wonderful working mothers amongst other staff at Vodafone. Congratulations to all the winners.
With the few moments shared with the winners, also highlighted on Vodafone’s campaign of “Make Time for Mum”. It only takes a few minutes to make our Mums smile, and those moments last a lifetime.
